What we collect

Account data — email, password (hashed), and optional Google profile if you sign in with Google.
Profile data — name, dealership, photos, videos, and contact details you choose to publish.
Reviews — your rating, comment, and (optionally) the last four characters of a vehicle VIN used to verify purchase.
Usage data — minimal logs (request times, errors) needed to operate the Service.

How we use it

We use your data to operate the Service, authenticate you, display rep profiles and reviews, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account.

What's public vs. private

Rep profile content (name, photo, dealership, reviews, ratings) is public. Email and phone are visible only to signed-in users. Partial VIN data is never shown to anonymous visitors.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with infrastructure providers strictly to run the Service (hosting, database, authentication, email delivery).

Security

Passwords are hashed; we check new passwords against known-compromised lists. Database access is protected by row-level security policies. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

Your rights

You can edit or delete your profile and reviews at any time. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us via the email listed on your account dashboard.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced via the Service or email.
