Trust standard
What “verified” means here
Any website can show star ratings. This page is the standard behind ours — written down, public, and the same for every dealership and every sales rep on the platform.
A review is tied to a real transaction
Reviews are collected through a link the sales rep sends to a buyer after a sale, and the reviewer confirms the review from their own email address before it is published. We record the vehicle reference for the sale so a review is attached to a transaction, not just an opinion posted by anyone with the page URL.
A review that is not confirmed by the buyer never becomes public, and is never counted toward a rep's rating or review total.
A rep must be on an approved dealership roster
Sales reps cannot publish a public page on their own. Every rep page belongs to a dealership roster, and the dealership approves the rep before the page is visible or shareable. That keeps titles, stores, and employment claims accountable to the dealership that can actually confirm them.
What reps may and may not ask for
Reps are allowed to ask every customer for a review, and to send a reminder. Reps may not:
- offer money, discounts, gifts, accessories, or any other incentive in exchange for a review;
- ask only customers they expect to be happy, or filter out customers likely to be critical;
- write, edit, dictate, or translate a customer's review for them;
- submit a review from their own device or email on a customer's behalf;
- ask family, coworkers, or friends who did not buy a vehicle to post a review.
These rules follow the FTC's guidance on endorsements and reviews. Accounts found breaking them have the affected reviews removed and may lose their roster access.
Anyone can dispute a review
Every published review has a report option. A rep, a dealership manager, or a buyer can flag a review as fraudulent, off-topic, offensive, or not from a real customer. Our team reviews every report, usually within two business days, and tells the reporter the outcome.
Reps cannot delete a review they dislike. Reps can respond publicly, and a dispute is judged on whether the transaction and the content meet this standard.
When we remove or hide a review
We remove or hide a review when it:
- cannot be matched to a verified buyer or transaction;
- was solicited with an incentive or written by someone other than the buyer;
- contains personal information, threats, harassment, or discriminatory language;
- is about something other than the sales experience;
- is duplicated across accounts or posted in a coordinated pattern.
Ratings are recalculated immediately when a review is removed. We keep an internal record of every moderation action so decisions can be audited.
What we publish, and what we never do
We do not sell better ratings, we do not let a dealership pay to hide a negative review, and paid placement is always labeled. Demo content used for onboarding is clearly labeled as a sample and is never counted in a rating.
Buyer contact details submitted through a lead or test drive request go only to the rep and dealership involved. See our privacy policy for how that data is stored and deleted.
